At inQuest Software, accessible from inquest.software, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by inQuest Software and how we use it.

1. Information We Collect
The personal information that you are asked to provide, and the reasons why you are asked to provide it, will be made clear to you at the point we ask you to provide your personal information.
- Direct Account Information: When you register for an account, we may ask for your contact information, including items such as name, email address, phone number (optional), and password.
- Google Sign-In Account Data: If you choose to log in or register using a Google Account, we receive and collect certain profile data directly from Google under the OAuth 2.0 protocol. This includes your unique Google ID (subject identifier), email address, full name, and profile picture URL. We do not access, view, or store your Google password.
- Log Files: inQuest Software follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect in various ways, including to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain our website and service portfolio.
- Improve, personalize, and expand our services, including EraseMy.Info and Horseplay PLA.
- Understand and analyze how you use our website.
- Develop new products, services, features, and functionality.
- Authenticate your identity and manage secure user sessions (including via Google Sign-In).
- Communicate with you, either directly or through one of our partners, including for customer service, to provide you with updates and other information relating to the website, and for marketing and promotional purposes.

3. Google API Services User Data Policy
Our integration with Google authentication services complies fully with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements:
- We only request access to the minimum scopes necessary to authenticate your account (specifically
openid,email, andprofile). - Your Google user data is strictly used to create your local inQuest Software account and log you in. We do not sell, disclose, or transfer this data to any third-party advertising platforms or data brokers.
- No human at inQuest Software reads your private Google user data, except as necessary to resolve support inquiries at your direct request, to comply with applicable law, or when aggregate anonymized data is needed for internal security audits.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Like any other website, inQuest Software uses cookies. These cookies are used to store information including visitors' preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users' experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors' browser type and/or other information.
We use secure, HTTP-only session cookies to manage logged-in sessions. You can choose to disable cookies through your individual browser options. To know more detailed information about cookie management with specific web browsers, it can be found at the browsers' respective websites.
5. Sharing Your Data
We do not share, sell, lease, or distribute your personal data to unaffiliated third parties. We may share information with trusted third-party service providers (such as hosting and database providers, email delivery platforms) solely to assist us in operating our site and providing our services, subject to strict confidentiality agreements.
6. Your Data Protection Rights & Choices
We want to ensure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:
- The right to access: You have the right to request copies of your personal data.

- Revoking Google Permissions: If you signed up using Google Sign-In, you can revoke inQuest Software's access to your Google account at any time by visiting your Google Account Security Settings at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

7. Data Security
We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical security measures (including secure SSL/TLS connections, hashed passwords, database access control, and firewalls) to protect your personal information. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, we advise you to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the date at the top of the policy.
