About the Project

ScreenScheduler is a lightweight Windows utility designed to give you precise, time-of-day control over your display's inactivity sleep triggers. Standard Windows power settings only allow a single global inactivity timeout. ScreenScheduler lets you declare automated rules, keeping your display awake during busy working hours and automatically reducing the timeout for quick lockout during nights or weekends.

This is particularly useful for security-conscious professionals who want to ensure their workstations lock quickly when unattended after hours, without having to deal with frustrating, constant screensaver lockouts while actively working during the day.

Key Features

Automated Schedule
Define rules that automatically apply screen timeouts based on the time and days of the week.
Tray Controls & Overrides
Instantly override the active schedule with custom timeout lengths from the system tray menu.
Startup Registry Integration
Optionally starts with Windows and runs quietly in the system tray, consuming minimal resources.

Technical Specifications

Built as a native WPF assembly targetting .NET 10. Contains an integrated update checker connecting to inQuest Software's central repository.
